Poem: Served with a Smile*

FOXes do dig holes,
Invite the vulnerable to
Eat their fill of lies
misconceptions, intended
Distractions; so deep the hole,
Even the most untenable fodder
Offered is devoured
Crawling out apologetically,
They laugh; faux news
With a plastic smile a joke
Believers deny the retraction
Regurgitate sour poisons
Venomous leftovers
Served with a side
Of loathing
Deny Truth, for lies
Seem more
Delicious
